Linda Clay:
A Special Man
I have been close
to Per Jespersen for many years without understanding how he is working and how
he is teaching. But I know for sure, that he knows so much about children and
their way of learning, that it is amazing. I have tried to write about it in my
own way, and it was not at all easy to persuade him to bring my text on his
website. But the experience he had had with the boy Lucas tells everything for
me, although it is quite difficult to explain.
Per Jespersen tries
to promote philosophy for children worldwide, and at the same time he uses it
in his consultation for children with different difficulties. He does it in his
own special way, and it really seems to work. Children do love to come to his
house, and they will never forget him. Therefore, I keep asking myself: Why do
some people have abilities, that can help other people? Why do some people have
this gift? In a way I think, that it is a thing you are born with:
unexplainable and unforgettable.
I do thank this
special man for the opportunity to put my story THE POET AND THE BOY on the
net, hoping that it will inspire people all over the world.
